HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR

Pretty much a relaxing day. Just doing spring cleaning and cooking some favourite Myanmar food to make up for myself for those busy days. All year round, I have been surviving only with cantteen food and restaurants but not home-cooked food. I do cook on some weekends but not a hearty one that take some times to cook.

This afternoon went out to shop for some bargains but came back empty handed. Most of the shops closed for business and those remained open, they're keeping an eye on their clocks. They too were anxious to go home and I just don't like the feeling to shop in such atmosphere. So I just walked around and spotted a nice hair saloon. When I realized not much people and the stylist could pay all the attention to me, I was sitting and being serviced by a friendly lady. Armani?, She asked.Oh! ya.. haha ..

Now I am waiting for a friend for a drinking session at a pub. It's a yearly affair since I got to know him. He is from China and due to the nature of his work, he could not go home to celebrate the chinese new year. And the rest of his Singaporean chinese friends are having their union dinner with their family. So for a chinese, to be left alone far away from home at this important celebration, he's always blue at this time of the year. So by choice, I am the best person that who can accompany him, drink with him and cheering him up haha..

Well I gotta go.. need to dress up and style my newly cut hair... haha am I such a vain pot? huh!
