GoodBye 2005

Its the last day of the year...

The past few days, its chaotic and somewhat loose..everyone's in festive mood since christmas eve..many people clearing leave, planning short holidays, organizing get-together dinners and parties..this moment I am working like hell and next moment I am all excited thinking of all the parties..

For me...yup.. chaotic..rushing for monthly reports & progress claims, trying to get the materials ready for the sub-contractors so that they could work during I am off for few days..And almost forgot to inform HR that I would bring my remaining 13 days leave to 2006..only come the evenings, there are activities lining-up.

29th Dec 2005

SAF Yatch Club @ Tanah Merah Coast Road (Next to SAFRA Country Club)
Caphine, Uncle, Ko San Wynn, Chaing and me went for dinner at a cosy beach side restaurant. Guys if you are in Singapore and if you have never been there, give it a try. If you are dating, it's a cool place.Bring your dates there and I am sure both of you will like it and will become your favourite haunts. They serve local fairs and western food and are resonably priced.

Well, look at our table. Its simple. Water, juices, chilli-pastes, sauces, plates and nothing else... but dont you think it's inviting? Uh... Yes with a romantic candle light...

We cracked jokes and shared our life experiences. truely enjoyed the moment and I realized that I had and still have this fortune that can click well with colleagues.

After our hearty dinner, we went upstairs to drink and sing at their KTV..It's simple set-up. But I fall in love with the place..I took up the table next to bar counter so we can have best of the best..We can request songs easily yet we can look out the sea and the diners downstairs..

Umm.. now gotta rush for a dinner and count down party again.. when I come back I write more about tonight happenings and the resolution for the year to come..

A Cool xxx-ray Shade!

I wonder what would you guys say, when you spotted this photo! A cut-out from Porn Magazines? or Porn Commercials! I did not have a chance for a wild guess as I saw it in GQ and I knew that it's a commercial shoot for cool shades..But guys it is not a porn but a porn! Guess what! The designer got a real porn star(only actor, not the girl ok!) for this ads.. Remember Guys?In my earlier post, I said "Sex Sells".. Today, I did nothing but lazed around, watched TV, chatting online and doing some reading and searching online.. It's X'mas and I realized that I didn't get any presents nor I bought any presents for anyone this year..Arr..
In fact, I didn't go shopping or for as long as I can remember. I need a few pairs of sock, undies and some polos and pants. And a pair of sunglasses too. Thinking of shades, dont know what brand or what frames to buy...must not be overly expensive nor too trendy as I meant it to wear on daily basic on job site..
Guys, this large framed shades are cool huh!! I would love to have a pair of it but I would be a laughing stock on unglamourous construction site if I put it on and walk around. And this pairs here in the pics are too ex.. to buy for the fun of owning it...
But guys, look at the ads its really tempting..If you guys are working in other industries and not construction I would say, go grab it man!

But if you are wearing ties and suits , I dont think this frames go along well with it. Unless when you are on your wheels travelling in between meetings with suits off your shoulder, I find it cool though.

For us guys, we do not have much accessories like women to go with our working attires. A good watch, a shades and shoes, that's it. But for now, I got to make do with just polos and jeans and some safety shoes. That's why, I have less headache to pair the shirt, shoes and pants. And also that's the reason I dont happen to go shopping..hmmm..
But, I need to get some pairs of underpants as my current ones are losing their glory... decoloration and of their elasticity haha...for undies I have a taste for a plain white color brief..and at one go I buy 10 or so..
And ya... need to get some wines for year end parties...I must see what I am gonna cook and think what wines to go with the dishes..

Merry X'mas 2005

Merry X'mas..Guys, It's the 2nd X'mas that I stayed home for the past decade that I came to Singapore..

After finished reading papers, I was kindda hungry. Checked my fridge and there I had long bean, tomatoes, Lime and minced pork..whipped up a long bean salad in 15 minutes.. wow delicious and fulfilling meal..

chatting and log on to internet to check some mails.. nothing much and remember that I had not seen all the photos I took few days back during dinner outing at Sentosa

As we reached there much earlier than scheduled time, I was busy oogling those babes and hunks..oops sorry..sceneries and snapping everything which come along the way to the party venue " The Coastes" (Dont know what does it mean).. Sentosa is really going through a major makeover.. look at the pictures guys! it's so colorful.. For being a beach lover, Oh my god... ! the sea, the sand, the swaying palms, the setting sun and the cool breeze...I almost forgot I was with my colleagues..and not alone nor not with my beach-goer buddies

Strolling along footpath towards the bistro and in the mood for party oh! yes..when seeing my OM and SM drinking I gotta restraint myself...Wow.. the table setting are simple but cool... the pulsating musics tempted me to sway to the beat.. the atmoshpere..

My colleague poured me a drink. He's a cool Manager..Always smiling and very accomodating..I am glad I met him when I was first joined and assigned to take charge of Terminal 3 project. Though we gotta handle different scope it would be tougher if not for his kindness and guidance.. take this opportunity and Thank you Poh! I wanted to post our picture here but for your privacy, I gave up the idea..

When our guys started strolling in, the band started playing soothing musics.. It was such a night..while walking and talking, greeting everyone..I just know that my body, my head were in sync with the musics.. the boozes, the beer helped me high..

All in all, my guys..as you can see..from India and Bangaladesh...were having fun. Getting presents and more importantly getting recognition.. it was a night of laughter and joy..hopefully it would become yearly affairs.. It was great to see them so happy...

Guys! Sex In The ( Lion ) City...

Guys what do you think!!Yesterday, Mr. Brown (Singapore renouned blogger) reported in TODAY that Singapore beat Japan only to be second last out of 41 countries in " High Sex Frequency"..

Straits Times reported today then more teen pregnacy and abortion rates are up for the past few years..

So what do we say!

I guess in general.. or rather for matured working adults it might be true that we have less sex...blaming stresses and many other reasons.

And talking about survey, what are the age groups we are talking about? Random? regardless of age, race, intellect, online or street? I do not go to Durex website to see the details but just wanna repeat the cliche..."Asain is Asain" Asian are kind of presevative when talking about SEX..Discussing one's sexual adventure openly is still very much taboo. Face saving factor is deeply inherited in our asian blood and talking sex could earn one unfavour eyes & remarks. A few asian countries find it hard to overcome whether or not to implement SEX EDUCATION in our school.we are having 2 camps up against each other..one Yes..the orher "NO..we are asian"

Haha what I want to say is" the real figure could say otherwise" Everywhere we turn..the commercial ads, the articles..in the weeklies..monthlies..the fav slogan " SEX Sells" Every where we see bikini clad, multi-pack-abs model selling all and sundries...mobile phone yes we see sexy models flasing their bodies (oops phones haha)....condominium yes..we see model swimming in yet-to-build pools.. and there are many kind of articles on sex guides on how to get tip-top orgasm.. or how to please the opposite sex on bed..the DOs and DONTs... So actually what I feel it our teens are well informed and they are putting their knowledges in good use..( there we have many teen abortions I guess..

Though one can pick up ONS partner from pubs, clubs..I can say..Sex is a lot more easier with the help of internet..In the chat rooms, one can just talk about any sexual fantacies..(cyber sex)..then.. phone sex...lastly.."real sex" and having best and effective public transport and tiny island... travelling to meet potential partner is not a problem...Having a car of your own? hmmmm..not a plus.. many plus plus...

Sex is part of our life..old or young... we have teens experimenting sex. We have adults getting regular dose of sex.. we have uncles travelling regularly to Batam for their shares..so..dont you all think that sex is very much a part of our life.. we have sex.. everyone is having sex...but we dont want to talk about it...

But hey...AIDS, STD.. will talk to us.. if we dont talk among us..I am on " PLAY IT SAFE"...I have every reason not to use condom.. sensation or whatsoever you name..but after having sex I just dont want to live in fear...you know even using condom regularly, sometimes when I felt a small itch ... omg.. the feeling is killing sort..

I used to hear this from friends he/she looks clean and free of STDs..well my advice is always..." Most of PWA(people with AIDS) dont know how they get it..they also think their partners look clean and healthy..the moment they know it..its too late..

So guys( or if some teens stumble upon this blogs).. the stake is too high..dont gamble with life... SAFE SEX is not just for momentary pleasure but good for after match as well..(Also can prevent unwanted pregnancy, boys)..

But one thing I wonder after reading that THE BODY SHOP is selling "COIN PURSE with a secret flap". I think putting up a condom vending machines at 711 and Cheers could fulfil the purpose better...

Personally, I dont feel good carrying around condoms everywhere...and buying it over the counter is also not very good option for EVERYONE (teen!..well I am not promoting sex or guiding teen for premature sex but it is less intimidating getting condoms from vending machine and the chance of teens, or even adults, making use of the condoms would be higher I am sure.

What do you think?

Paris Hilton...is really..

chance upon Paris Hilton while trying to compile a list of Men's Magazine for links and reference....

Here is what she said...(Extract from Maxim)

Paris Hilton is so rich and famous that if celebrities all lived in
their own country called, say, Celebritovia, which was a constitutional monarchy and where everybody lived in huge luxury hotels instead of houses, Paris Hilton would surely be their queen. Or rich princess, or something.

And if we had normal sex organs, they’d surely be in an near-constant state of arousal, because the hot heiress’s billion-dollar body seems to be just about everywhere you look right now – drunkenly draped across the tabloids’ party pages, running away terrified from bits of soil in her reality show The Simple Life and now she’s even popped up in the horror film House Of Wax.

She’s even more prolific than our aggressive psoriasis (which is on our eyes)! We wanted to know what it’s like to be the world’s most looked-at golden sex gazelle, so here, in her own words, is that…

On her public image:

‘I thought it was cute to play a dumb blonde.'

On TV,

'I do it because it’s funny. I consider myself a businesswoman and a brand.’

More on what she said and photos HERE... Sorry guys.. I am so tired and I burnt my whole day trying to organize this blog..enjoy!

Skincares, Who Says The MEN Dont Get It!

Really, who says that? In recent papers, we see how Singapore well-to-do enjoying their manicures done! Walk thru Tang's hall of Perfumes, we can see top-of-the-range counters dedicated to men's skin care products. Local well-known wellness spas claimed, 25% of clients are macho-men...

Here we are not even talking about high flyers..who would fly overseas to indulge themselves in exclusive spas. Or who fly-in their private therapists to do their groomings...

In recent Year, we see major cosmetics brands happily stamping "MEN" on their products!

Guys! skincares are for the rich and the famous? it's true in the past..But today you walk into Guardians, NTUCs or any supermarkets, you can find a range of products of your choice within your budgets..

ummm...by now some might be trying to figure that SIMPLY THE EAST must be ubersexual with flawless skin, well-trimmed, clean-cut and model-alike haha...well for the time being, its better that I am being portraited in your imagination as such..right..

I dont think I need to say/explain something that what the heck! cosmetics, skincares gotta do with we guys? In this increasingly vain global society, where everyone is self-aware, body&look conscious...modern men, metrosexual, ubersexual..hey we are in Singapore..guys...who cares what people might label you that you are GAY or what..Impotant thing is you must have healthy skin and look your best...

hope that those brands read this post and sponsor me so that I could write more haha..Uh!! lemme go back to skincare tips..

Guys,What is the first thing people notice about you?

It's your face, seriously. You need not to have a Brad Pitt kindda face or a chisel-cut good looking face..

Healthy skin is the most important element of a great looking face. It's easy to achieve and you dont need to go spend a fortune..no need to sign up package after package or buying countless products everytime you go for your facial session( I experienced it...I was lazy and thinking that getting specialists doing facial could do my moon-suface face magic..you know what, towards the end of my 10 sessions, I was scared to go facial. I always ended up buying back at least a product each session..)

I did not look any better but I got washroom-full of skincare products..And I read and apply it myself...lemme share some basic tips and guidelines to encourage healthier skin. It's simple

Keep it clean

We men have approximately 20% oilier skin and significantly larger pores than women. Basically, this means you get dirtier. No matter what skin type you have, to clean your face every day. Deep cleansing is important. It keeps pores clear, skin healthy, and you looking good.

Cleansing products should be as chemical free as possible. Deodorant soaps shouldn't be used on your face. They cleanse with harsh ingredients and leave a detergent film behind. This may irritate your skin and will clog your pores. Go natural.

A good scrub is essential for healthy clean skin. It will remove dead cells and smooth the surface of your face. The scrub should be strong without being damaging. Stay away from scrubs that contain rough elements like ground bits of nut or seed extracts. They will tear and damage skin. A good scrub will invigorate you, not hurt you. Exfoliate and polish with your choice of a scrub.

Moisturizing is a necessity. Again, the product with the least amount of chemical additives is the best. Always use a light moisturizer on your face after cleansing and shaving and don't forget your neck! Hydrate and nourish your skin.

For an intensive moisture treatment use pure vitamin E, or aloe vera oil. Apply the oil directly to the skin. This is a great under eye treatment. Remember it is very important to moisturize this sensitive area of the face. It is one of the first places to show age because the under eye skin secretes no necessary oils on its own.

Keep it toned. Use a toner

As a contrction worker I spend a lot of time outside, environmental debris, dusts and pollutants are a factor in damaging my skin's health. Toning helps keep my face clear and firm. For daily usage stay around 5% Glycolic so you won't burn or damage the skin.

As skin ages, it needs to work harder to maintain its elasticity. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxyl acids work the best for toning the face. These acids actually can reduce the pore size, and help avoid ingrown hairs. They are aggressive and have quick results. Remember to look for a product that is not photosensitive (sensitive to light).

Treat your skin
Depending on your skin type (oily, dry or combination) and the time of year, there are different products that treat and enhance your skin. Different treatments will have very different results. It is important to know your skin's needs.

All types of skin need to be exfoliated. This is the removal of dead skin cells that form daily. This is an essential part of skin treatment.

After shaving, you need to moisturize with a product that has absolutely no alcohol in it. Avoid heavy fragrant after-shave products too, as they can irritate the skin. Hydration is important.

Skin that is too shiny doesn't look healthy, just greasy. Blot the excess oils away. Blotting papers or a light powder that will give you a more natural finish, are both good options to try. An undetectable product with anti-shine is desired for a flawless look. As for me when I am on site, I just pull out a cheapo 30cent a pack tissue and rub it..I cant possibly carry blotting paper around huh!! HAHAA

Don't forget about your lips. Find a balm that has an SPF of at least 15 in it. Peppermint oil has a nice feel and keeps the lips looking luscios..hahaha Men! dont freak..for your healty lips..wet your lips yourself ( dont think I need to tell you in details how to huh)... and use a lips balm when you are at home to if you dont wanna have people staring your men-wet lips..

Protect your skin
Healthy skin is young looking skin. There are preventative techniques that can promote the best skin possible and keep it looking its best longer. Remember that your skin is a mirror of your overall body health. Facial survival is the key.

Here are the key techniques:

Avoid over exposure to the sun.
Sun damage leads to hyper pigmentation (brown spots) which can develop into serious skin disease. Excessive exposure can also exaggerate and thicken fine lines. Use and SPF 15 or higher on all exposed skin, especially on your face.

Stay in shape.
Exercise promotes capillary functioning which can decrease premature aging. It also increases oxygen to the tissues which keeps skin looking young.

Eat right.
Keep vitamins such as C and E in your diet regimen.

Everything in moderation.
Too much of anything is never a good idea. Stay away from excess alcohol, smoking, fatigue and stress. Not only can these factors lead to premature aging, they also decrease facial circulation making you look older. It is important to use products that are nutritious and healthy.

Guys! So we men got everything! Have a great skin and looking good...more confident and be successful...

Andy Lau...All About Love

Nissan Exclusive "Black Unlimited Edition" over at the Suntec..Wowwww..cant wait to see how is my dream toy " Z350 FairLady" would be fair in Blak...

But Andy Lau " All about love" show was at 1430 HRS.. Just want to take times to admire my fair lady so decided to go into the theatre first..

Its a tale of love..play by beautiful Andy Lau and co-stars...Andy palyed 2 characters " Ko, the doctor" and " Derek, The fashion Designer"

truely admire Andy's 40++ looks..He looks good in those Jeans and Fab belts haha..Why celeb do not age I wonder..

Dont bother what the morale of the story director wanna say.. but after watching it I got this feeling...Career and works are important for MAN..but our love ones do need our attention as well...

for us men, we may think nothing special about husband-wife relationship after marrying... or rather we quickly forget about the romance and become too practical..just working hard provide for our love ones and think that our love ones could understand what we were doing for love ones .....neglecting finer and sensitive love..or sensation between us...no more romance except occasional Sex..(No more roses..no more love you honey...(of course there are guys that still doing even after 10 years into marriage..keep it up guys)

And this movie, kindda telling...dont regret only when things went out-of-hand.. so treasure and care for love ones every chance..small little thing can do wonder in our life..

"When 2 are happy together...everyday is " and there was chrismas trees and lights... a dance...sooting and beautiful scene.. look at it..

Andy's hair, styles is superb and though its not 5 stars ratable..its really made my holiday...

After a show went straigt down to Nissan Show... As we approached the lower deck the pulsation sound exciting...as we entered the floors and at a glance... only fairlady was the master piece and we went straight there.. the whole area was black and kindda dull... and a lady just sat at the driver seat adjusting up and down the seat for an ages with his baby boy aside... OMG thats it...Nissan lost one potential buyer ( haha like real)

Guys! What ----sexual are you?

Strange? the question? confusing? or rather freaking? whatever.. haha..

Lately quite a splash all about man's sexualities in the medias..

" hetro, homo, bi" what I know of are passe..

A years ago or so, Footballer Beckham was tagged "METROSEXUAL" and it was everywhere..overly used by dailies, by marketeers...

I am still trying to figure out whether I am metrosexual or not!!!

Cos periodically I do shop for some skincares...enjoy going spas and facial..putting in a little effort to keep fit and looking good...but I avoid a too flamboyant dressies..that could suggest otherwise..I am not an actor, I am not a star so I quess I do not fit in those big labels ( lame excuses huh..I should say I cant afford instead haha)..

So that's why I said neither this or that..cant be a metrosexual..just an average Joe who wanna enjoy a bit of finer things..but contending with Jeans, Tees and Polos..

And UBER come knocking and shocking me...look at this guys..

Metrosexual or Ubersexual? How to Spot the Difference

* Both are passionate, but the uber is passionate about causes and
principles, while the metro is mostly passionate about himself

* The uber spends more time grooming his mind than his hair

* Both treat and respect women as equals, but the uber considers other
men, not women, his best friends

* The uber is more sensual and not at all self-conscious; he doesn't need
other people to tell him he's sexy -- nor does he plan his errands
around which shop windows offer the best reflection

* The metro gets design tips from the Fab Five; the uber gets them from
his travels and interest in art and culture

* The uber knows the difference between right and wrong and will make the
right decision regardless of what others around him may think; the metro
knows the difference between toner and exfoliant -- and worries that
he's using yesterday's brand

So what are you? metro? uber?

And these guys are ?
Kwon Sang Woo? Uber or Metro?
How about Simon Yam and Bradd?
