Sorry again for a hideout for a good few months. Wonder where I was? What I did? ummm....pretty nothing much though. Busy.. Busy. and busy would be my buzzwords..
I spend my waking hours working, drinking and chatting online. I am not sure what the hell I spent so much time like chatting online talking nonsense but I do have something good during my disappearance..
Happened to meet some like minded Burmese who wish to see some Burmese here take on more senior positions in corporate world. But we are lagging far behind from our fellow Indians and Filipinos counterparts due to our English proficiency. So over a beer or two in one evening we started an English Conversation Session. Since unintended inception then we meet once a week now and talk in English.
No particular topic, no agenda but we talk all and sundries under the moon (due to our day time work commitments, we are only able to meet in the evening). Anyone who speaks better or worse is welcome to join. We will learn from someone better. We will guide someone a little poor than us. No hard and fast rule. Myself and Ma Khay Mar take on the leading role and so far so good and we hope more people come on board to share with us. Until now, our meeting places are somewhere City Hall and occasionally my home and Ma Khay Mar's.
