Hi! How're you doing? This is Sai Sai O.K or just call me "Sean" for your convenience, if you are not a Myanmar.
Thanks for reading my blog and hope I could give you something..Be it a laughter..or just a smile. Or whatever that you are looking for. All my posts solely represent my thoughts like how I see and interpret everything coming my way. I do not represent any race or community. Neither associate with any organization. My writing may not fit everyone's taste or may not be pleased all the people out there and I am not trying to make everyone to agree my point of views.
But hey.. if you find something amused, take it, have fun and smile. If you find annoying, leave it and ignore. Does anyone say he or she is writing for nothing? No, none! We are all writing with a purpose. We want to share something we know or we feel etc. etc.. So find out what mine is and shoot me comments! Appreciate much!

FABULOUS FEBRUARY
Those residing in Singapore will know what I mean "Fab Feb". Agree? The best month for love birds because of Valentine day and there is longest holiday break, Chinese New Year. About my Valentine Day? haha.. as usual, me, myself and no one else. Nonetheless I enjoyed it even though it's not a holiday. I could feel the love all around. I will write about single hood and love when the mood is right. So stay tuned alright!
For Chinese New Year break, till now I am still lounging, lazing and enjoying. Again, this year I can't go back to visit mum and instead having a long break to recharge myself.
For those of you who miss me too much, a few shots here specially for you ok! I took it with my friend and his family during our Chinese new eve outing.
Some of you might remember I mentioned about this friend of mine in my earlier post and about his son being 9 years old. Unknowing( maybe knowingly haha..) I am an uncle of 9 years old boy. And look at the photo, supposing if I married about the same time with my friend, my child will be this old and this tall..Oh no.. but I am happily single still(self consolation)..haha..
"Sai, you know if only me and my wife, we can live comfortably in Yangon but for the sake of our son's future, we gotta get out of our comfort zone and come here."
"Aren't you putting your son in ILBC? I heard they use Singapore curriculum and texts and teach in English?
"It becomes just a commercial school and profit oriented institutions where the riches flaunt their wealth. They operate with scarce human resources with limited qualified teachers. Young teachers with speedy-graduation-universities degrees whom themselves uncertain what all about proper curriculum's rule the class rooms. After so much of frustration, we got no other alternatives to get our son through a proper education, here we are" lamented, my friend's forward-looking and educated wife. That gives me the answer why we could feel the ever-increasing presence of young Myanmar children and their parents in Singapore.
In early years, we could see only post graduate students doing masters in higher institutions like NTU and NUS and very seldom in polytechnics. Getting just a diploma was not on the cards of many Myanmar students. Then during the post 90's years, a certain thing forces them out of the country to seek for proper education elsewhere starting from the children of the more influential, elite and well-to-do families. Giving the different entrance criteria of two different countries, the brightest Myanmar students (also not so bright, but having means to come out) end up in Singapore's Polytechnics.
Then, now..the young children in primary and secondary schools are here in drove. The country is not prospering yet parents are sending their children off for basic education elsewhere. If our economy is rising tremendously and prospering, seeing this phenomena is nothing questionable. It's natural that if you are wealthier, you want something better and prestigious. I think, it's time for the officials to evaluate the dire states of our education system and do something about it. Saying so, I am afraid there might be a ban to send our young overseas for a proper education.
Oh dear...I got carried away. Sorry, I should be writing something light and pleasant to go well with my title, fab feb huh...
And ya....just an update.my friend, Khaing Bwa managed to secure a work pass and working here now. And needless to say, he becomes a member of the rat-racing communities and we hardly can fix a time to meet up. haha..

HELLO!
Hello guys! It won't help even if I say "sorry" thousand times right!
I know I have been keeping myself away from you guys for such a long long time...
But I also know that you guys are so kind to me even I don't say "sorry" huh!
I was just busy with works and some rubbish that I do not want to disclose ha....
And also one of my flatmates just move out all of a sudden and I gotta look for someone to occupy the vacant room. If not it is too heavy for 2 of us to bear the cost of the whole apartment.
I do learn something though. You put up a friend believing he might have the same understanding but not really the case.
If it is our own apartment it might not have a great impact whether you co-tenant stay or moving out without any notice. Without any prior notice leaving me no time to react to look for someone to take up the space so that the next co-tenant can share the rents equally.
Sometimes it's hard to talk terms with friends like house rules and alike. It's not paid to be considerate. Well.. I think self-interest will be better in future.
Dear pals, yup for those of you who miss me, I put up 2 photos here for you guys .. so please forgive me ok!
Staying home and punching hard on my keyboard and talking non-stop on gtalk made me a little kind of sick and I longed for fresh air. Just then my younger brother called me up to go out and I immediately agreed and booked movie tickets for Babel starring Brad Pitt.
I met my brother at Orchard and we went straight to Shaw House for our movie. Hot dogs, pop corns served us as a buffer during the show and we shopped for a little after the show.
Bought 2 CK Tee for myself and 1 for my brother and we went to Clarke Quay for our dinner. And a few glasses of beers soaked our throats and a few shots of photos haha...
By the way...the tag line of the movie BABEL " If you want to be understood. Listen!"
Rather true I guess..well I won't say everyone will like it but you should go and see..
